After a hard fought 90mins I felt we deserved to go through after dominating for large periods of the game. Drayton worked extremely hard and we have to give them credit for making it extremely difficult to create any clear cut chances.
People say penalities are a lottery but I was actually confident that the lads who put themselves forward would step up and that Sheridan would produce what we all know he’s capable of when it matters.
Tonight was another good local derby contested in the right way, and I’m sure the next 2 league encounters will have a similar intensity to them. We are in the hat for the next round and that was the outcome we were looking for. - Jamie Haynes
