MANAGERS MESSAGE

After dropping points at home it was really important that we got 3 points on the board, and to do it away to a strong Studley side was really pleasing. Losing Griff in the first half was a big blow meaning we had to shuffle the pack but credit to the lads we were able to get the job done.

We played some fantastic football at times and probably should of put the game out of site in the second half. Studley literally threw everything at us with long throws and corners but the lads stood up to that challenge and other than switching off for their goal I thought we defended well.

Bringing Jeremy Abbey back in is a massive coup for the club. He’s had a difficult start to the season with things not working out for him but when I heard there was an opportunity to bring him back in it was a no brainer. He brings strength, power and scores goals from midfield which he wasted no time to show when he came on with a fantastic finish. I’m looking forward to working with him again and help him to reach his full potential as a player. - Jamie Haynes
