Jamie's squad update:
'It’s been a busy a few weeks both on and off the pitch with players moving on and the arrival of 2 new faces.
When you have such a competitive squad at this level it’s inevitable that players will move on in search of more game time and that has been the case with Joe Berks to Stone Old Alleynians, Harvey Lewis to Market Drayton Town and most recently Tyrone Ofori who is looking for his next challenge. All 3 players have gone about things in the right way and have left in good terms. It’s unfortunate that it hasn’t worked out for them here at Shifnal but all 3 are very talented players who were a pleasure to work with during their time at Shifnal.
Coming in to the squad are Adam Whitehouse, a proven goalkeeper at this level and levels above, who dual signs from Boldmere following Sheridan Martinez’s suspension and winger Kyren Hamiliton from Lichfield who will bolster our attacking options.'
Club Notes on the departures:
The club would also like to thank Ty, Joe and Harvey all the best for the future. It has been great having you on board with some great memories made.
Ty getting 2 fantastic goals despite being down to 10 men and 3-1 down. Joe with his winning penalty kick in the dramatic FA Vase against Market Drayton and Harvey Lewis providing goals and assists throughout but in particular a lovely finish in the league against Market Drayton Town.
